UCAST, as the flagship of technical education in the region, was the first university to receive the status of "National Research and Technical University" in the region, having in its structure scientific and academic institutions and specialized laboratories scientific and educational holdings 

When benchmarking our quality assurance system, we base it on the European Higher Education Area (ESG) Quality Assurance Standards and Recommendations, which are based on best practices and current trends in higher education. Enhancing the reputation of UCAST and ensuring the training of new forms of engineering staff has been set as a strategic goal of the university's growth.


  •  Developing a new generation of leaders – 10% of all PhD students. Best Journals of the 1st and 2nd Quarter - University prestige and recognition at international level through publications in 300 scientific publications.

  • Quality education through research - at least 10% of graduates receive national tier one salary. Innovation, transfer and commercialization of new technologies (research into production) - The volume of commissioned research is over 2 billion Euro per year.

  • Effective management –Improve satisfaction with quality, infrastructure, research and degree of digitization by at least 90%. Pre-requisites

Entry to a bachelor’s degree programme requires either graduation from secondary education (high school) or its equivalent. The University can in some cases consider learning experiences that have been gained through work as the equivalent to formal completion of secondary education. UCAST offers multiple options to earn a bachelor’s degree. All such options can be completed fully by self-paced distance learning, with no physical attendance required for supervision or assessment.

UCAST offers multiple options to earn a master’s degree. All such options can be completed fully by self-paced distance learning, with no physical attendance required for supervision or assessment.


Pre-requisites

For entry to a master’s degree programme a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification is a usual requirement. Candidates with previous academic awards such as a Postgraduate Certificate or Postgraduate Diploma can reduce the requirements to earn a master’s degree via Accreditation of Prior Learning and Experience (APEL.C/APEL.Q).

Research-Based

UCAST offers multiple options to earn a doctoral degree. All such options can be completed fully by self-paced distance learning, with no physical attendance required for supervision or assessment.


Pre-requisites

For entry to a doctoral programme, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent credential is a requirement, and a master’s degree is usual. However, candidates without a master’s degree can (as is usual in the British/European education system) be admitted to the doctoral programme on a probationary basis.Admission to a higher doctorate does not require formal academic prerequisites(terms and condition applied), but in each case, the candidate will be expected to show that their background is at least at a commensurate level to that of a Ph.D. holder or via APEL accreditation
